Emergency AC Repair and Excellent Service
Last night, our AC suddenly stopped cooling, and the temperature inside our house climbed to 88掳F. I called CroppMetcalfe for emergency service around 9:30 PM, and Julieann Govan arrived promptly. She was incredibly knowledgeable, quickly diagnosed the issue, and had our AC up and running again in less than 30 minutes. Thanks to her expertise, our home cooled down and we were able to get a good night鈥檚 sleep. While the emergency service cost was higher than I expected, Julieann鈥檚 professionalism, confidence, and quality of work were outstanding.

Loved the quick response
10/10. Called them on July 3rd at 5 p.m. with an issue with the AC not blowing cold air. Their technician, Benjamin Griswold, was able to come by within the hour and was able to find the issue and replace the blown capacitor in the condenser and had cold air running through the system within 15鈥�20 minutes after resetting everything.
Loved the quick response, and the excellent customer service and expertise from Benjamin!

6/23/26 鈥� Lance T. installed a new water line for my backyard hose bib and relocated it from a hard-to-reach ceiling area to the mechanical room. Much better access now. I鈥檝e used Cropp Metcalfe several times this year and have been consistently impressed. Lance is professional, friendly, and great at explaining things clearly.

I鈥檝e seen this company many times over many years and never thought to use them until today. They came out and fixed an issue that a prior technician from a different company had worsened. The first technician was unfamiliar with the system, as evidenced by Cropp Metcalfe's diagnosis of the problem. The technician was very thorough and informative, which helped me appreciate the value of their services.

Inadvertently, the vents on my main floor were nearly all closed, causing cold air to cycle back on the coils, making the system believe the coils were freezing. They weren't. Simply opening all the vents fixed the issue. Thanks, Vontae! I hope the merger of Environmental Systems and CroppMetcalfe works. I've been with ES for well over 15 years, and they have been great!
